What has come to be my most popular apron is this 40's inspired full apron. The rick rack and the heart-shaped pocket reminds many of moms and grandmas, aunts and elderly neighbors and the aprons they made and wore. Bias binding encloses all raw edges and the rick rack outlines the hemline and the pocket.

50's Ladder-back apron with Tulip Pocket- $40
What a pleasant surprise it was to find this apron! I have a similar apron that was my mother's but I didn't want to deconstruct a delicate family piece. When I discovered a pattern that echoes its style I was all over it immediately.
Nothing says "Grandma in the kitchen" to me more than this apron. It is virtually a dress to wear over your clothes - it protects so thoroughly - and donning this apron imparts a feeling of total protection not to mention an elevated sense of cool. The side panels, the ladder back and the incredible tulip pocket make this apron one heck of a statement.

20's Flapper apron - $30
This is the apron that first caught my fancy when I began my search for vintage patterns and is the style I wear in my kitchen. Being cut on the bias, the fabric sweeps around the back to the apron strings, protecting those convenient hand-wiping spots on the derriere. These attributes make it an excellent choice for larger women though it is in no way limited to the more ample body size.
Two handy pockets catch the ever-present odds and ends of our lives and that's it - no fuss - just excellent coverage with smooth, classic lines.

Half aprons - $25
Shown is my market apron, which is made of heavy-weight cotton allowing it to hold up to repeated use. There are three pockets running along the front and this style sports longer-than-normal ties that can be brought around to tie the front.
(The bright green is not part of the apron but the dress the mannequin is wearing.)
Fabrics available in feminine and more masculine stripes and solids.
Other half aprons available are a clothespin apron, hostess aprons and a half-chef's apron. Or whatever it is you have imagined.
