Yo Momma's Apron Strings is a one woman operation. All fabric selections and purchases are made by me and, more importantly, all the aprons are made solely by me. Should there ever be a quality issue, please contact me so I can make amends. I want all of my aprons to be worn for as long as the fabric holds out. They will hold up to innumerable wash/dry cycles.
Below are the aprons I make on a regular basis. Over time this list changes as I introduce new styles and retire others. Clicking on an image will either enlarge the picture or direct to a link showing other examples of the style.

Swirly Apron - $38 (no known date of origin)

Hands down, the Swirly Apron is the best selling apron in my catalog. The drop waist with its swishy skirt makes this apron way too much fun to wear - put it on and hips immediately begin to sashay.
As with many of my aprons, the over-the-head neck piece is made for ease of use and comfort and the aprons requires no tying other than at the waist.
The triangle pocket is accented with a vintage button, chosen for nothing other than how sweet it looks on the apron. Click on the apron image to see a detail of this pocket and views of other Swirly Aprons.
All edges are bound with bias binding and seams are sewn without any exposed raw edges.
Made of 100% pre-washed cotton.

1940's Rick Rack Apron - $38

Rick rack is what places this apron firmly in the heyday that ushered in a fun and playful decade of apron design. Used liberally on all types of clothing, the apron wasn't to be neglected with this embellishment.
Designed with the over-the-head neck piece for ease of wear and comfort, this apron ties at the back and is adaptable to most body types.
A triangle pocket is accented with a vintage button whose only function is to look sweet. The slightly dipping hemline gives this apron a graceful line, which the rick rack firmly emphasizes.

1947 Halter Apron - $43

"Is that lingerie?" I've been asked that more than once along with other colorful comments and I suppose this apron does fall under the heading of sexy due, in part, to the deep V of its neckline. Appealing as that description is it doubles as a fully functioning apron in the kitchen.
This apron ties behind the neck, making it adaptable to different body types and ties at the waist to hold everything on and the look together. The box pleats at the waistline gives this apron an extra bit of umph in the style department.
Don't look for any pockets on this baby but who needs them when looking great in the kitchen is the ultimate goal?
There is a version of this style for larger body types, which can be seen if you click on the apron image. If you're interested in this option, all you have to do is ask.

1920's Flapper Apron - $38

This is the apron style that started it all. It provides super coverage with its wide bodice and sides that sweep around to the back, convenient for those who like to wipe their flour-covered hands on their backsides. There are two large patch pockets to hold most anything, the aprons ties at the waist and has a comfortable over-the-neck band.
Made of 100% pre-washed cotton and all the raw edges are bound bias tape.

Criss-Cross Apron - $38 (no known date of origin)

Developed to answer the call of those who a.) do not like anything on the back of their neck and b.) don't want to be bothered with tying up a waist tie, this apron does both with pizzazz.
The arc of its collar sets this above the other squared-off aprons and its graceful shape is echoed in a scalloped hemline and quarter moon pockets, of which there are two for holding the bits and pieces of one's daily life.
The main feature of this particular apron is the criss-cross straps that hold everything together and on the body. Slip this baby on and you're good to go for the rest of your day with absolutely nothing to bind you up or tie you down. Comfort to the max!
The Criss-Cross is available in two lengths: a shorter smock-like style reminiscent of the 'house dress' of old and a longer version for better coverage when slinging flour in the kitchen.

1950's Atomic Momma - $38

There's really, really great coverage as the front of this apron dips down to knee height and the sides circle round to the back for more protection from kitchen messes (and hand wiping!).
The apron is cut on the bias, has an over-the-head neck piece and slender ties at the waist. A giant pocket is handy for most anything you might want to stuff inside.
As with all my aprons, the raw edges are bound with bias tape and the edges of any open seam are finished.
Made of pre-washed and dried cotton.

Hostess with the Most-est - $33

This is NOT the apron you wear to cook your dinner. This is the one you put on just before your dinner guests arrive to look the totally elegant hostess that you are. The half apron screams the 1950's, a time when most of the aprons you'd find in a homemaker's kitchen were half aprons. It makes little sense as far as protecting your clothing but who cares as long as you look good?
Created from a pattern printed on the back of a vintage rick rack packet, this apron is fun to wear with its double swirly layers. There are no pockets on this apron but pockets would be superfluous when playing hostess, right?
