The Linen Collection

There is absolutely nothing like linen with it's soft hand and luxurious drape. I consider it the Cadillac of fabrics and can't resist offering a few special aprons, if for nothing else than to have the opportunity to work with it. I usually have a few on hand though there is a good chance a linen apron will be a special order item if the fabric has to be ordered from the manufacturer, as I have limited yardage on hand.

A dominate characteristic of linen, and one that cause some to reject it in their clothing, is its tendency to wrinkle. If you are someone who has difficulty wearing something that wrinkles easily then I would suggest linen is not the fabric for you and to opt for something made from cotton. For me, that is part of its charm and the linen I use is so soft that hard-edged, severe-wrinkles-out-of-the-drier don't happen.

Wear this apron and you are good to go for the day. There are no ties and nothing to lie on the back of the neck because the straps go over the shoulder and criss-cross before attaching to the back at the waist.

Over-sized pockets will hold just about anything you would want to put in them.

The mid-weight linen fabric is washed and dried before being cut so there will be no surprises when it comes out of the wash.

One size.

If you don't see your apron in The Store, please contact me. I have LOTS of fabric on my selves or can go shopping for the fabric that's right for you. All you have to do is ask!

This total-coverage apron is reminiscent of French and Japanese linen aprons. While technically an apron, it easily be worn out on the town over a pair of leggings or jeans or, of course, over whatever you happen to be wearing.

The unique apron back shows why this apron is so easy to wear; there are no ties and nothing lies on the back of the neck. The crossover feature at the back of this apron keeps everything in place.

Handmade linen binding encloses all the raw edges, creating a unified look to this fabulous apron.

Two patch pockets are there to hold your valuables.

The mid-weight linen fabric is washed and dried before being cut so there will be no surprises when it comes out of the wash.

Available in extra small to large. Special order only.
