The women who came before us knew what they were doing when they made aprons to protect their clothing from the inevitable kitchen splatters and household messes.
I am doing my part to help reclaim that heritage.
Combining my passion for vintage aprons and fun fabrics, my aprons are created at home using vintage patterns and 100% pre-washed cotton fabrics.
Yo Momma’s Apron Strings came into being as a way to find loving homes for the aprons I make. The result of all that excitement had created excess. In order to perpetuate all that good-time fun I had to find new homes for the aprons I had on hand. Thus began my journey as a creator and purveyor of handmade aprons.
Each apron is a unique creation: I purchase enough fabric for one apron with the result being there are no two alike.
